Traininee Mud Logger / Sample Catcher

Role: Collects and prepares cutting samples

Job Description: Include but not limited to the following;
1. Assist the Mud Logging Geologist in all ways
2. Assist in equipment maintenance
3. Assist in preparing mud logs
4. Comply with approved procedures, quality and HSE
5.Complywith safety rules at all times

Education: Minimum B.Eng/B.Sc./HND in Geosciences / Mining / Pet. Eng./Geography/Chemistry / Physics /Mathematics

Communication: Must be able to communicate fluently in spoken and written English Language.

Training and Certification: None

Experience: NYSC but not exceeding 3 years post-graduation. Knowledge of the geology of Niger Delta, Petroleum Geology & ICT competent is mandatory.

Personal Authorizations: Valid OSP and BOSIET

Rotation: 28 days maximum

Clients: Multiple Clients

Engagement Type: Contract/Call-off

Tenor: 3 months

Shift: Night / Day

Regulatory Compliance: PAYEE/Pension
