INVITATION TO SUBMIT APPLICATIONS FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS’ SCHOLARSHIP

Jimcol Resources Nigeria Limited hereby invites applications from eligible students of Mbodo Aluu Community to apply for the 2022 JIMCOL Tertiary Institutions Scholarship awards.

The scholarship program aims to promote academic excellence amongst undergraduates of Mbodo Aluu Community. This grant which is for only the successful candidates shall be paid yearly until completion of undergraduate degree program.

Kindly note the scholarship eligibility below.

Scholarship Eligibility:

To be eligible for the scholarship, all applicants must:

Be an indigene of Host Community – Mbodo Aluu.
Currently be in their second year of full-time study of a science related course in a Nigerian Federal or State University accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC)
Have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 on a scale of 5.0

Application Steps:

All applicants should download and complete the scholarship application form.
Provide documentary evidences of the following documents
Recent passport-sized photograph
University or JAMB Admission Letter
Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) Result
O’ Level Results.
Reference Letter from Community Youth Leader and Paramount Ruler.
Certificate of Origin
School ID Card
100 Level Results for 2020/2021 Academic Session.

I am pleased to announce that our company, Jimcol Resources Nigeria Limited has been successfully pre-qualified by the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) in the on-going 2020 marginal oilfield bidding round.

In June 2020, DPR had put out 57 marginal fields for competitive bidding by qualified Nigerian companies.

This is a significant milestone in our long-term strategic business plan to transition to a fully integrated Energy company by 2025.

This success builds on our continuous efforts in the last 15 years to develop a company with a clear agenda to deliver value to our stakeholders and deepen the Nigerian Content policy of the Nigerian government in the upstream oil & gas segment.

We intend to approach the remaining stages of the bidding process with the diligence required to convey our robust and exceptional value proposition to the DPR in respect of the development of our potential fields of interest.

To ensure we optimize the field development plans for each field, Jimcol Resources Nigeria Limited will be cultivating local and international collaborations with other E & P companies with the technical and financial muscle to facilitate a field development that will maximize the total hydrocarbon output for each field.

We are also satisfied with the governance process in the current bid round and believe that this excellent delivery by the DPR will lead to a very successful outcome for the entire exercise to the benefit of the Nigerian Oil & Gas industry and the nation at large.

Jimcol Resources team participated at the 2019 West African International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (WAIPEC) held in Eko Hotels, Lagos.

WAIPEC is the largest petroleum event of its kind in West Africa, and is now widely regarded as the major think tank, collaboration platform and sprouting base for innovative ideas across the entire Sub-Saharan Africa energy industry.

Throughout the event, Jimcol Resources showcased and exhibited game-changing oil and gas industry solutions, and engaged in high-level strategic sessions and discussions with participants.

Jimcol leads industry discussion at the 2019 Nigeria Oil & Gas Conference & Exhibition

Jimcol Resources team was on ground at the 2019 Nigeria Oil & Gas Conference & Exhibition (NOG), held at the international conference center, Abuja, Nigeria. The NOG event is an international platform that involves professionals and businesses related to oil and gas sector, and focuses on creating new technological innovations and advancing the growth of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria, among others.

During the conference, Jimcol’s General Manger Engr. Josiah Agwere delivered a presentation on Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI), and engaged in strategic session with industry stakeholders, as well as and solution exhibition.
